Carnival of the Animals

A wild musical adventure

Get ready to stomp, swoop, and swim through a wild musical adventure with Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns! This concert features a parade of musical creatures, including some new animal-inspired pieces — from tiptoeing tortoises to a roaring lion — all brought to life by the MSO with pictures drawn by you!

The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra wants your amazing animal drawings!

Send us your colourful, creative drawings of any of the animals featured in the music (list below). Your artwork could be part of a spectacular projection shown live during the concert!

Let your imagination run wild — and be part of this musical celebration of animals big and small.
